Screw-in using the hand-driver or a wrench (the use of an electric drill may be limited by it's power). Ideal for soft and sandy ground with its deep cut thread. With the height adjustable hook, the peg does not need to be fully homed.

Bought these as the beach tent we bought came with just
normal pegs which are useless on the sand as they get
pulled out by every gust of wind. These on the other hand
go in really deep and are very hard to budge once they're
in properly. I expected there to be more in the pack (there
are only 2) but as it doesn't say anywhere how many there
are I can't really complain. With just the 2 of these and
the normal pegs we had already the tent was much more
securely fastened and we didn't have to worry about it
blowing away at all.
